Types of Health
There are two types of Health as given below:-
1. Mental Health
This type of health totally depends that how we are thinking, feeling, and what is our ideology for others. Mental health is more essential than physical health. If a person is very strong physically but not mentally, he cannot cope with tough situations and may not be survived.
Because of mental illness, the number of suicide case globally are 8,00,000 every year as per WHO. This means one person dies every 40 seconds. In India, there is 17.34% (1,35,000) suicide global data which is more hazardous than Coronavirus.
We can assume that how mental health is important for humankind in this modern era. Everyone is running after wealth instead of Health. We rarely think about and talk about our mental condition to anyone. A person must have such an association and atmosphere where one can feel comfortable and feel strong mentally.
2. Physical Health
Health is our asset and this is our moral responsibility to maintain it. As per W.H.O (World Health Organization), we can EARN health whether it is Mental or Physical. We can define E.A.R.N as below:
4 Key Aspects to Build Physical & Mental Health
E – Exercise
A – Attitude
R – Rest
N—Nutrition
Exercise
As per W.H.O exercise is very necessary to stay healthy. Physical exercise provides many benefits to our body. Our body releases endorphins chemicals while doing the exercise. These chemicals trigger positive feelings in our bodies. As per W.H.O, a person should do at least 30 – 40 minutes of exercise daily. When our body gets sweat after exercise, the pore of the skin gets clean, and because of this skin can take oxygen properly. Moreover, the blood in the body will be circulating properly and our body will be healthy.
Attitude
There is one Positive and the second is a Negative. W.H.O recommends that the person should be positive with their attitude. A positive attitude always benefits positive results. If a person wants to be healthy, he should always think positively. We have researched that a positive attitude comes through a positive atmosphere. We have a great example of a positive attitude is “Stephen William Hawking”, he is a great physician and scientist. Although his complete body was paralyzed. He discovered many theories and principal. Later in 1970 when he was in a wheelchair.
There are many ways to change our atmosphere and association. We can take the positive association with good books i.e., The power of positive thinking, The magic of thinking big, etc. These are some books which have tremendous positive results for many people. We have to take a good company with good and motivated people & friends. We should always do self-talk and be self-motivated. When we go through some positive and motivational audio and video, we have to always try to learn from that. We should stand before the mirror and say “I am the best and I can do”. Hence, a positive attitude is very important for Mental Health.
Rest
Our body and mind require adequate rest to rejoice and re-energize themselves. W.H.O also recommends that a person should take rest in the day at least 6-8 hours out of 24 hours. Here rest means sound sleep of 6-8 hours. Although our mind never sleeps, however, the functionality of the mind requires rest to refresh it. We feel fresh after a sound sleep. Our power of thinking and focus get increases. When we take proper rest, we feel energetic and our productivity gets increases. Rest is very important whether it is for mental or physical health.
Nutrition
This is very important for our health. Nutrition functions for our health as fuel. Our body neither requires junk food nor spicy food. It requires only healthy food full of nutrition. W.H.O. recommends that if our daily diet provides adequate Minerals, Vitamins, Protein, Good Fat, Fiber, and carbohydrate according to our age and body weight then only a person can be healthy.
Imbalance of diet and deficiency of nutrition occur in many lifestyle diseases. There are many lifestyle diseases like diabetes, migraine, high & low blood pressure, thyroid, gastritis & hair fall, less sperm count, infertility, etc. As per the W.H.O report, a country like India is the capital of diabetes. This is the measure issue not even in India but all over the world. Proper nutrition is not available in our food due to adulteration and using chemicals and pesticides in agriculture. Therefore, most health consultants suggest adding supplements to our daily diet. Experts say that the supplement should be organic, have certified, tested land, and manufactured with 80-90% active ingredients from plants and fruits. If we are using organic supplements, we can provide proper nutrition to our bodies with no risk.
